1. Do you shoot any other sports?

I do shoot other sports. I shoot a lot of basketball and some football and a lot of golf.

2. What are some challenges or obstacle when shooting golf?

Golf is a challenge because you have to be mindful of your surroundings because of the players. You can’t fire a picture until after the player makes contact with the ball.  And you might miss a picture because your waiting for the player to hit the ball. And also there is a lot of walking involved by foot.

3. How many pictures will take during the Tournament Week?

I’ll probably take 1,000 photos and download a couple hundred a day.

4. How many cameras and lenses do you have?

I carry three cameras and three lenses with me out on the course. I do that so I don’t have to change the lenses while I’m out there and I can just pick up the appropriate camera for the shot.

5. How long have you been a photographer and what drove you to do it?

I’ve been working as a photographer for about seven years now. I got interested in it at school and it was just the right thing for me.

6. Where are you from? How many kids do you have?

I’m from Charlotte and I have my wife and our two boys. Henry is one and Jack is three.

7. How many golf tournaments have you worked over your seven years?

I probably work between 6-12 tournaments a year?

8. Who is your favorite LPGA Tour player to photograph? And why?

I would say Christina Kim because she plays with a lot of emotion. It’s always fun to photograph someone that expresses a lot of emotion on the golf course.

9. You’re our Tournament photographer and you cover a lot of the different events. What is your favorite genre of photos to shoot?

I look at my job as an opportunity to document the Tournament and capture the range of everything that happens.

10. Which specific Tournament event did you enjoy shooting the most?

I really enjoyed doing the junior golf clinic. I really enjoyed seeing the kids out there on the range hitting some balls and it's always great to see the professionals helping out the kids.
