More Than 100 Donors Participate in Pantene Beautiful Lengths Week

The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G is proud to announce that over 100 individuals (ages 5 and up) generously donated eight or more inches of their hair to those fighting cancer as part of the official Pantene Beautiful Lengths Week in Northwest Arkansas. Four elementary schools were selected throughout the region to host cutting events this week. The breakdown of school donations were as follows:

  • Central Park Elementary (Bentonville): 9 donors
  • Jerry “Pop” Williams Elementary (Farmington): 29 donors
  • Russell D. Jones Elementary (Rogers): 53 donors
  • Walker Elementary (Springdale): 8 donors

In addition to the participants who donated their hair this week, additional previously-cut ponytails were collected at each school.

These events acted as a prelude to the official Pantene Beautiful Lengths event that will be held during LPGA week on Wednesday, June 24 at the Walmart AMP. Hair donors and stylists may still sign up to participate in the major hair cutting event. The hair collected through Pantene Beautiful Lengths will directly help women affected by cancer in Northwest Arkansas.
